ARPA-E, the new DOE agency charged with finding the next big energy breakthroughs, has announced its second annual Energy Innovation Summit.
The event will be held, like last year, at the Gaylord Convention Center near Washington from Monday, February 28, 2011 to Wednesday, March 02, 2011. ARPA-E funded technologists and other innovators will report on their progress on solving the greatest challenge of our time: how to end the reign of King Petroleum.
Workshops on the future of transportation, energy storage, and the smart grid, all should be fascinating. But the biggest action will happen at the pre-conference workshop, where attendees and ARPA-E Program Directors will hash out ideas for the next round of programs.
