The ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit launches today near Washington with a pre-conference meeting of energy innovators and managers from the country’s premier energy innovation agency. I’ll be at the Summit for the start of the main event tomorrow.
Keynotes from Arnold Schwarzenegger, Energy Secretary Chu, and ARPA-E director Majumdar, will mainline summit tomorrow morning. Some 200 exhibitors will showcase potentially breakthrough technolgies for powering the future. Panelists will debate the future of green fuels, batteries, the smart electric grid, and a lot more. These folks are attempting to bring about nothing less than the next industrial revolution.
Watch for my blog posts, pencasts, and videos from the showcase floor and the conference rooms.
